To smooth wrinkles or ‘sagging’ around the neck, we use a substance called Botulinum Toxin, a commonly known product used is called Botox™. Using a very fine needle we gently inject into the affected areas. A small amount of local anaesthesia can be used to make the procedure completely comfortable. It takes two or three days for the full effect to be seen and lasts about 2-3 months. It acts by temporarily preventing the muscles from contracting and has been used safely and effectively for years.
